What It’s All About

We are thrilled to announce The Black Joy Odyssey.
The Odyssey is a series of local and international trips and tours curated with you in mind. The aim is for us to explore the endless destinations, cultures, and sights which the world has to offer while immersing ourselves in each place’s unique traditions and ways of life. What’s great is that we get to do all this while meeting, interacting with, and forming relationships with dynamic and like-minded women of colour.

The 2021 Tour

– Casablanca, Morocco

Beautiful Morocco, from the countryside to the city, there’s lots to see and explore. Get lost in its sounds, captivating aromas, and whimsical sights.

From wherever you are in Morocco, you are likely to hear the call to prayer from local mosques. Morocco has many faces, many melodies and sounds, and many enchanting colours which give the warmest welcome to travellers. Good food, good sound, and good vibes lie ahead.

You will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities such as archaeological and historical exploration, camel trekking, hiking, swimming, star watching, bird watching, visiting with local Berber families, and of course, bargaining at Souks and local markets.
